The commercial performance of this era is so odd. How is it possible for Flowers to be so huge right out the gate and then everything else bombed?

Like why was the GP so tuned in for Flowers and what happened for them to lose interest so fast?

Amazing how her most mid album is one of the most successful. Plastic Hearts deserved this love and more

River flopping still baffles me. The melody is like 80s gold

The best song on the album, she served Kylie's X era here. Maybe the sound was a bit too obscure coming after (or still during) Flowers. UTBY did what this one couldn't do.

Agree. The song was too "sophisticated" "gay" to smash
 Flowers was just cannibalizing all the singles too. It was inevitable. 
Miley was honoring the gay parties she had with her friends in this video. So, i really appreciate it. Hope it turns into a cult song like Girl Gone Wild eventually
