The vitriol on a carefree dancepop album is suspicious.

 

Are the other bases jealous and projecting on Dua's pop perfections which they secretly wish their faves should be releasing?

No shade, but what is there to be jealous of?

I doubt any ATRL member would want to be in the spotlight whilst going through a commercial decline.

Unfortunately we live in the era where most people hiding behind the computer dont have their own opinion and  incline to opinions of others just to feel included

They should. RO is one of the best albums of the year.

First of all why are you policing my posts?   Secondly, do you think I care what a bunch of trolls say about Normani? Normani could do 20k first week and I would still stan. I don't care about numbers, I'm just happy my fave is releasing good music and has the talent to back it up. Not everyone can say the same.

Dua fans are currently hiding or switching to Sabrina, they most definitely care about the numbers.

I mean the album isn't the dumpster fire some are making it out to be but it's not any more than passable. That's not really how I'd define doing pop music right, especially following an album like FN.

This is not jealousy. Most people on ATRL support artists when they're doing well commercially and abandon them as soon as a project isn't doing as good as the previous ones. It happens with every popgirl on here and it is Dua's turn. This only shows who stans success and who stans the music.

I listened to the album and only liked 'Houdini'. I have nothing to be jealous of. 

Eternal Sunshine and Radical Optimism are my two fave mpg releases so far, this year  Replayability, hooks, melodies.. not every major album has those qualities
