Mr_campbell Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) Nova May boldly declares a revival of iconic 2010s tunes. While some are undeniably catchy, her overall aesthetic and sound is giving Britney/Gaga/Kesha will she achieve her goal? Is she the next main pop girl? Edited May 6 by Mr_campbell 1 1

Rev8 Posted May 6 Posted May 6 It really does sound like a mix of those, from the early 2010s is the 2010s trend coming sooner then we thing? (altho hyperpop literally took inspiration from the electro-pop of the early 10s) 1

TakeYouToHell Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Mr Bus Driver is a bop but overall her image feels very… forced? It's not genuine like Slayyyter's debut era
ZacXCX Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I've seen a lot of her Tiktoks saying her song (I think it was Mr Bus Driver) is 2011 Femme Fatale outtake/Early 2010s Ke$ha based, and I'm sure she's a sweet girl, but when your branding is based on someone else, you're kinda f***ed from the get go. I get the nostalgia thing, but you have to put your own spin on it. 1
