    Id say that Sweetener/TUN were more experimental than positions. Positions was a logical step after the previous era. Just because it wasn't well received doesn't mean that it's "experimental"

    Sweetener is and her best album to date.  the light is coming gets a lot of hate but i still listen to that song:WAP:

    Sweetener is more experimental overall but there are some experimental aspects in Positions especially vocally on a few tracks

    expensive ? bfr positions' production sounds like nokia ringtones and the mii soundtrack :deadbanana4:

    blazed is somehow the most divisive ariana song ive ever seen in her fandom despite it being a simple soulful pop track :skull:

    I would never call any music released by Ariana Grande EXPERIMENTAL but Positions is cute album and it doesn't deserve the hate

    i love positions but it was not experimental lol.

    I would argue that position is actuallt her most generic, uninspired album
