nobody knowing it was even out until this thread is a drag within itself

One bad album released yesterday was already more than enough for us

I had no idea she released anything.

Music was the end of it all for her. She was already on decline, but that movie was the nail in the coffin

To be honest the fact Sia even made it in first place as a pop star is already for the books. She might as well flop from now on forever and she will still have her pen game and random songs always making a comeback on social media

She released? I thought her album was several months away 

I mean, I knew it dropped but did I care? No. 

 

Sia used to be one of my faves in the 2000s lol I loved her early folky side and even her playful poppy efforts "Some People Have Real Problems" and "We Are Born".

 

Everything after that, her commercial peak, was trash and it just got worse so there's no need to listen because I know for a fact I won't like it. I would know by now if it was a big return to her roots or sumn via promo.  

 

No need to drag her. Let her release her shitty little albums in peace. She's in her Kelly Clarkson era. Still somewhat kicking but nobodys here to buy it.

Sia should have retired in 2010.

Sia has a career spanning 20+ years. She flopped and struggled with addiction and other demons that while tragic, gave us some of her best material ever. Her getting success as a feature girl was already unprecedented. So the fact that she had the type of success she got during 2013-2017 was crazy. Nobody ever thought of her as a MPG. So her flopping is nothing new. But doing so with her worst album ever is just not even worthy of a conversation. Ciao!
