I had burnout from Dua Lipa with Future Nostalgia reissue, but with the current rollout performance of the three singles and the streams(plus i actually love the album moreso than FN since im more into chill vibey music and These Walls >>>>), it feels like she's my best kept secret sauce artist and I'm so happy because it's not like a Taylor post-folklore-to-TTPD situation where she's too big where it's annoying

Oh these days I mostly enjoy music that isn't that successful, at least in the United States. Never cared about charts/sales, never will. It's fun sometimes to use it on here for a quick shade but those who are seriously looking for stats... actively following sales and streams could not be more wrong about what actually matters.

 

And btw Radical Optimism is a very good album, I am enjoying it a lot. End Of An Era is completely stuck in my head right now.

Yes, I get bored when an artist is too big.

 

I remember I was a Carly Rae fan from Canadian idol and her local music here in Canada. Then Call Me Maybe blew up and I became uninterested. But when Emotion was ignored, I came back in full force repping her.

No I don't give a **** about numbers. In fact I usually stan the projects that were less succesful from my faves since I usually think they are underrated and deserve more attention.

 

I actually like Radical Optimism way more than Future Nostalgia.

well I Stan for the music. and a lot of artist I listen too aint ever gonna get a number 1 song or get acclaim. 

and even if they fall off. im still gonna be listening to their music on a daily basis regardless. don't really need to fit in with whatever the internet thinks cuz they are just strangers online. lol

Yes because just because they are underperforming doesn't mean the music is not good. 4 for example was underperforming first week but that album was way better than I am Sasha **** so I continued being a fan of her. It's about the music for me tbh. I love big numbers but the music quality has to match. Nobody should give up on an artist based on success.
