It's truly a terrible song, i'd only feel bad if it was a good song. I sound harsh but they can't have heard this song and thought it was good? :deadbanana2:

I really hope she releases stronger material soon, she needs to release something that is going to make people actually pay attention. Nobody is caring about her music at the moment, it's pretty sad because you can tell how passionate she is and she clearly wants the solo career to work out.

I've enjoyed most of her music but I agree that this one is a huge miss, I just hope her next songs are a step up because she's losing interest with every release at the minute :doc:

I only liked My love, the rest are filler. Plus, the themes of these songs are just pure boring love, almost no hook and not catchy, and her voice sounds so bland. She needs a producer that can find that unique tone in her voice or she will never make it.

Day 1: 131,223

Day 2: 63,278 (-67,945)

Total: 194,501

I feel so bad for her :rip:

I kind of wonder where these 63,278 streams come from . Her family ?

This is pure rubbish she shouldn't have released any of these tbh

She should keep working on them and try to impove the material or scrap it

My Love and DSL are the only songs accept as her releases

I think this is okay tbh. The issue is her voice on the chorus. Something about the way she sings it/the way her voice is mixed sounds so...sharp? Quite grating. I think it could've been better if someone else sung it honestly :toofunny2:

Stealin' Love did more streams yesterday, 47,098. This is worse than dead on arrival, please just drop the rest of the EP.

Little Mix Reunion 2025 at this rate :michael:

If the reception to solo material is lukewarm which I really wish it wasn't hopefully it'll bring the girls back for more than a reunion tour and they'll reunite.

I'm sure Leigh can't be too thrilled with this reception. :sosad:

I'm so torn with her solo run, particularly this phase we're in now.

One part of me likes that she is keeping the content flow...flowing.

It's like things are coming out regardless of the performance. Songs, shoots, BTS bits etc. It's pretty commendable and proves she really does mean it when she says there's a plan in place.

The issue and I guess the question I have is: what is the point of it all if a) the music is meh and b) it's not moving the needle? It almost presents as "something to do" for "doing sake", which ultimately amounts to a vanity project in a way. But, in being fair to her, it's better to do something in the gap between now and the revival of the album campaign rather than going MIA.

Ultimately, things would feel less doom and gloom if the EP material was actually good (because I don't think any of us or even she have charting expectations for it).

With her spilling her own tea about the album campaign picking up again in September, I almost wanna fast forward to then. I want to hear her "best" material and see her put her "best" foot forward video-wise. I also wanna see what her team/label learned from the promo run for DSL and ML that they plan to rectify/improve upon for this reboot. I also wanna see if the releases from the other Little Mix girls give her a lil more momentum too.

Leigh-Anne created a 'secret' channel in her Discord group asking fans if they prefer Stealin' Love or Forbidden Fruit. Guess they are using this to see what type of music is liked more?

She needs to add an option for "neither" lol

I still say My Love is the best thing she's done since going solo and really deserved so much more than it got.

I used to rag on DSL for stealing what could (and should) have been the launch thunder for My Love (historically, solo launch hype is spendable one time and one time only. So ML should have been lead). But, in hindsight, I'd take 10 DSL's over the demo-like tracks that have been everything from this EP so far.

There's an objective quality difference with DSL/My Love and SL/FF. The first two sound like songs from a polished album and the other two sound like literal demos (from the mid-00s) not even worthy of an EP.

It's nerve-wracking from every angle.

On one hand, if everything we've heard so far is from the same album sessions and DSL and ML are the best of the bunch, it figures why things are where they are because the songs that followed are not strong enough to launch any kind of project. So it would make me worried for the album we had coming had ML done better. Especially if it's the same version of the record coming post-September.

If she's back in the studio working on a new version of the album, I question her ear because (at the risk of sounding like a broken record) these new songs are not it!

I saw that they've been heavily sponsoring this song on social media, sadly I don't think that tactic is going to work

I always thought she was involved in the writing back in LM days so why does she keep pushing out writers camp demos? I can't believe Nija penned something so half baked...
