Im waiting for the release date

But I'm scared by the Midnights references in this thread

Another Lover/Midnights/1989 type of album the the least I wasnt from her

Don't listen to the Midnights rhetoric. There are some sonic similarities on first listen, but this is her angry/angsty/psychedelic and DIRECT experimental baby. This is way different.

Midnights was vague and all over the place in a lot of ways.

I agree that „who's afraid of little old me" is a career highlight, absolute masterpiece from the very first listen

This thread is SO HARD to ignore, lol

The negative reviews from some really do put a damper on things.  Ugh.  Hope I like this.

Florida is the only good song in the entire album. It's probably due to the fact that Florence saved the song from being mid.

!!!

This is the worst album of hers.

Just because it's a heartbreak album doesn't mean the album needs to be so monotone.

There's a plethora of emotions one feels in heartbreak: anger, resentment, depression, spitefulness, euphoria, Deja Vu, etc.

Like I started noticing jack's downfall the moment COCC dropped. Then he solidified it with Daddy's Home, Solar Power, Midnights (production wise lbr) and 1989 TV vault. This is just another Midnights production wise. Jack doesn't think outside the box while producing and is very bland / not creative in that department anymore.

Is it dark sounding and minor key dominant (eg tolerate it, hoax, I know places verses) or is it sad but still kinda chirpy sounding (leg YLM, Cordelia st, dbatc)

Posted

Its better than Midnights, but its still only her 7th or 8th best album

Some of the production is more fleshed out and interesting than SHITnights but yeah, no this is not good at all. Have fun streaming this tho y'all I know the Swifties will have fun gagging at this.
