??? Uh huh 🤔 I suppose. What does even mean? bedside the obvious.

Well there's a lot of opportunities for her rn! A publisher help maximize royalties by securing placements and handling royalty collection. They can also offer support for the creative process bc they can set up writing camps and connect Tinashe with songwriters and producers. They also handle "song plugging", so there's a wider chance to have her songs getting used on TV, movies, etc.

She left the major label system when she was free from RCA, but she was still stuck on her old publishing deal so this is a big moment for her as well!

If this helps her get more support in the K- and J-markets then this could be really good for her

You better school them! lol.

:clap3: Good for her.

As much as I want her to sign with major labels/pubs for visibility, she gotta do what's best for her (and especially for her creative freedom).  I'm not mad at it.

I do wish Roc Nation would have her a bit "out there" more though.

I thought she was going to sign with Pulse Music at some point, her past two full albums had a lot of input from their writers/producers, so I'm curious to see where she's going next with her music!

part of her not being more out there is 100% because of herself and her thought process. she says she doesn't like to do anything unless she has a new project coming out or she's in a project cycle but that's by far one of the worst ways to view yourself and your music in this business.

hoping this deal can help push her out of that mindset a bit.

She's coming to save the worldwide pop and r'n'b music scene:clap3:

It's been really interesting to watch her journey as an independent artist. Always rooting for her.

Needs has become her biggest hit in years, so I do think she's on the right track :clap3:
