KBax Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Thank f*ck she's officially dropped the rock shtick. I'm glad she got it out of her and had fun with it, but R&B/Pop is where she excels and sounds the best. Holy F*ck at times felt forced and a tad try hard. I get that her first two albums were rock/soft rock/pop rock whatever, but something just didn't hit right with Holy F*ck. Excited to hear what her new project is going to sound like, it's definitely going to be R&B/Pop with the producers she's been working with. Hopefully it's an album full of sex bops. I still wish she officially released Make It Rain and This Love. Thankfully we have those leaks, but a TMYLM 2.0 is definitely what we need. I would love for her to do a song like Truth or Dare (Tyla) or Needs (Tinashe). 1 1

BoDaToe Posted March 13 Posted March 13 As long as Oak stays far the **** away from her she can do whatever she wants.

She’s comfortable with him, people forget he produced a lot of TMYLM (many who think is her best album) including SNS. when he hits it HITS but then he has misses with I Love Me

KBax Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Saw yesterday a few posts on Instagram regarding the sound of Demi's new album from a reliable source. Whether these are true or not it's exciting regardless. They stated that it has a Q3 release, is mostly R&B and sounds like TMYLM 2.0. It's not that big of news since we all had an idea already, but it's just a nice confirmation. 1

Freakshowvato Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I think HOLY **** is a great album. Especially the first half. However, I do not see us getting more of that energy with where Demi has been lately
Acuminatus Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Not just Spanish, but Portuguese as well! Maybe we will get something like this again: On 3/13/2024 at 2:48 PM, Pink Ranger said: ELC 2.0 coming
Britney Is Fierce Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Always looking forward to new Demi music. HOLY **** was a solid album and I don't think its sound was forced at all, that was the music she felt like making at the time and if she wishes to do something different, I'm here for it. And what's with the Oak shade? He has produced some of Demi's best songs, let's not
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted March 19 ATRL Moderator Posted March 19 I like just about every iteration of Demi whether it's the 2000s pop/rock, pure pop, some of the soulful and rnb cuts etc. But I really would just love for another TAOSO. I think Demi's lyrical game really shined on that album and it demonstrated their vocal versatility between softer tracks like TWYDLAM, powerhouse vocals DWTD, LP, some of their finest pop songs Melon Cake, Butterfly, great collaborations, and a strong thematic through-line. When I listen to that album top to bottom it really feels like a true album if that makes any sense despite having variety? I'd love at least one more project in that vein.
camilacabelloslaps Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I actually loved her last album and the rock version album, 4 ever 4 me might be one of her best songs, Ashlee Simpson vibes 😭😭
