Me Against The Hits Posted February 24 Posted February 24 This is literally her britney pre retirment era (pretty girls, make me, mind your business) Calm Down was her Scream & Shout though I fear her Britney Jean is coming 7

The song is good, it gives kiss me more vibes and it will grow hopefully. But I still don't get if its a first single or a droplet or something. rating the droplets by now : Feitsh > bad liar > back to you > wolves >> trust nobody > it ain't me >>>> Love on >>>>>>>>>>>>> single soon >> I cant get enough + Let's be honest it got hype bc of the Hailey/Justin drama + Calm Down momentum.. and yet she release a scrapped single from 2016 I hate to say this but her best music comes out when she's emotional/broken. Love on is a droplet??

lauren198 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I like this song. But I don't think it'll grow on its own and by the looks of it they didn't plan to push it at all due the SS performance So y'all need stop worry about charts and enjoy the song if you like it. After all she's just releasing them because y'all keep asking for music 1
NumbSoul Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Not to sound like a hater, but I'm not feeling this one at all Single Soon was already pretty underwhelming, but it was at least a cute lil catchy bop. For some reason this song just sounds annoying to me. It's basic and not that catchy. And honestly, I HATE the video. It's like they had a really nice budget, but really boring/basic ideas and then whoever filmed it just made it all look super tacky - the way it was shot just makes the whole thing seem super cheap.
Delirious Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Btw guys did anyone get this song added to their Release Radar playlists? Because of the awkward release time, it didn't get added to mine., What about you guys?
Delirious Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Btw the song lost one hour of tracking on the global spotify charts. Would've been #40 with 2.35m streams

Love on is a droplet?? The rumors on the streets say it's a droplet. about the broken part - I agree, but tbh, even a cute dance album such as Stars Dance, or more Rnb album would fit her much more than this generic pop music (and she wasn't broken at all at these times). This song misses oomph, a better production (Hyper pop style even) could take this song miles high. It's the same problem with Yes,And ?, lackluster production, pretty minimalistic, and sound outdated, with no extra value. Edited February 24 by Mydilemma2.0
Mydilemma2.0 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 (edited) She wasn't broken here, yet she served. She gave us a full song about being in love with a person who doesn't know about your existence - A bit the same story as Love On. yet here - she gave a mature sound, Rnb, a much better production, less repetitive, lyrics are much more sophisticated, better annunciation, a memorable MV, a teaser for a new single, and an iconic C part. I just don't get what she is doing nowadays - SS - was tragic, to say the least, a Fruit Loops studio production, sounds like a scraped Disney project. Love On - is an improvement from SS, with no uniqueness, repetitive af, the chorus is so basic and cringe, Shake It Off's theme song is more interesting, MV is storyless and forgettable. Idc what anyone says... Bad Liar is her best song. It was so out of left field and fresh. The lyrics are so fun and clever, and the visuals were so well thought out and executed. I still think Love On is cute and I am streaming... but what happened between here and here? These are two different people... she looks frozen and personality-less in the Love On video Edited February 24 by XXI.

What they expected? Also, SS ruined the hype damn. I know she's a billionaire and is definitely not losing sleep over this, but her TEAM needs to do their job properly. But her team should know that and work extra hard on the next release, but they did the opposite
magazine Posted February 24 Posted February 24 it's inch resting definitely better than the last single it's kinda giving katy perry tho

I just find funny people saying if she is not broken how is it going to release songs like before, as if Fetish or Good For You were broken heart songs lol
rickycabello123 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 SG3 real lead single, Selena Gomez ft. Camila Cabello is coming so smash! Her, Camila & Bart been teasing since last year. This one is just cute lil droplet
Motivation93 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Yeah like - is this the lead ?? Didn’t she say her album was done lol
lauren198 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Rare suffered a bit from the TikTok withdrawal. Before its daily was around 1.5M and now it fell to 1.3M I think this song could perform a bit better with TikTok too, but not much like 500k more

Sansa Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I guess selena was wrong, a post can change things after all, because her post about palestine/israel and all her instagram shenanigans did change people's feelings towards her. I think even with a good song she wouldn't get that much better numbers. she can hide her instagram comments of people calling her out on her hypocrisy, but she can't hide from these numbers. I wish all zionists and zionist's friends would flop! 1 8

Freakshowvato Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Its not doing that badly but weekend numbers matter as well.

That bad statement revealed her true colours. her donation went to israel. the cease fire letter was her team's attempt to do damage control and she didn't even post about the cease fire letter on her instagram, because she values her zionist friends opinions so much that she didn't want to upset them by wishing peace for palestinians publicly. she's a garbage 1
