Would've fit so well too. Also the fact that OMG was already performed by Will.i.am and Usher at the Super Bowl in 2011. I think out of all songs to ever exist… that one certainly doesn’t need multiple SB performances. 1 1 1
Mark Rih Posted February 12 Posted February 12 It was nice but I’m DISGUSTED at him skipping DJ got us falling in love again.

"Formulaic" means they all follow the same formula. Small snippets of past hits, with a million things going on the background. I get that it's meant to be a mini concert, but it feels a little stale. How are you going to argue that most of these halftime shows aren't basically the same thing every year but with different artists? 1
Safe&Sound Posted February 12 Posted February 12 What's with OMG hate? That one song is peak R&B/Pop stars stepping into EDM sound Also mind you, OMG is blocking California Gurls for weeks as well While DJ Got Us falling In Love is just a cute Top 5 hit 2

I think the main areas of improvement would have been having a more epic and bombastic ending (the ending as is is just a bit sudden and anticlimactic), the start should have been more pronounced to build hype, and some of the camera work. Other than that, it was really good. Enjoyed it. Usher really put his all into the performance—the roller skates part was crazy. I agree with all of this.
M.R. Posted February 13 Posted February 13 He’s a great performer but set list was awful. Couldn’t recognize half the songs due to him not singing/focusing on dancing + they all blended into one boring medley. Uptempo songs like U-Turn and DJ deserved to be performed.

I Love U-turn but was a flop. Also not performing OMG two times in the same show (and i dont like). And not perform Dj or U Remind Me.

Sweetie I LOVE rih rih and I actually think she can carry on a choreography but all I remember last year was all of my friends waiting for something to happen and nothing. Sure we didn’t know she was pregnant but I don’t recall her doing any choreo. And that’s fine, she delivered a different type of show. It was visually spectacular and she slayed her classic Rihanna swag but usher delivered something I prefer more which is just simple old school choreo with some dancers on stage 🤷♀️ 1
Ramooon Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I didnt like the performance. For me, it was boring. Nothing special, just award show performance. I expected more. 1

The girl who is the only Black female in history to own her own signature fender guitar, is on Usher's new album and is the 4th most relevant R&B female today after SZA, Summer Walker & Jhene Aiko OBJECTIVELY is not anywhere near the hints of a sneak. Literally all 4 of these artists have at least 1 album above 2M sales in the US, and multiple albums above 1M. Summer Walker is the only other one that plays guitar And she ain't no performer Maybe support more talented artists to be more relevant in the mainstream who can play instruments since y'all hate H.E.R so much here🤡 Because clearly her career is in for the long road, imagine y'all still fuming 5 years later from now which would be over 10 years after her debut 1
