truthteller Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) it's not her face, it's her expression like she just finished a scavenger hunt in nomadland after two blunts Edited February 9 by truthteller 1
SpaceOddity Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Serving Amish with those instagram baddie lips does look a little funny but I like the cover, it's pretty. 1 1
unino Posted February 9 Posted February 9 this's nice introduction. i really miss her chill music. please don't try too hard this time. 1
Gold Posted February 9 Posted February 9 so many major released this year it's amazing! really waiting for this one
pinkbowvintage Posted February 9 Posted February 9 It feels like she really made this album for herself which I appreciate. The song is growing but still nothing slapping me like her previous singles.
JOJO335 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) Kacey will be performing on The TODAY Show on March 15, celebrating the release of 'Deeper Well' https://twitter.com/TODAYshow/status/1755946942419325307 Edited February 9 by JOJO335 1
liquiddiamonds Posted February 9 Posted February 9 wow she really botched her lips with the fillers. i wish she had them fixed before the covershoot because the mountain Appalachian concept is interesting 1
liquiddiamonds Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Naked one much better. Watch her make it the official one because of backlash 1
Rigalo Posted February 10 Posted February 10 She NEEDS to restock the alt vinyl like what is going awn…. also I never hated the SC cover, and yes I did buy the vinyl first week that is clearanced for like $10 now SC must have bombed my poor queen
Migs30283 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I hope Kacey gets nominated for AOTY at the 67th Grammys despite the country voters are 11%.
CottageHore Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) I keep coming back to this song in moments of peace and quiet. It’s such a gentle and understated song. It’s actually so beautiful. I hope the entire album is cohesive with this song’s vibe. Give us easy listening folk country with some psychedelic elements. Like Golden Hour meets Norman ****** Rockwell Edited February 10 by CottageHore 3
Uncatena Posted February 10 Posted February 10 i love that her last three covers have such distinct colors, and the cover and video are stunning. the song is good, didn’t WOW me but it’s very chill and pretty.
AnonnonA Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 The Zine CD looks so good - very excited for behind-the-scenes pics and song commentaries 1

Would love if you could a short track-by-track description too! 1
NumbSoul Posted February 11 Posted February 11 To be completely honest I don't care for the album cover and the lead is just kind of cute, but I'm still perched for the album and I'm sure she'll offer sth I'll love! 1
modern thing Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I wouldn't even notice the lips on my own - now I see them, thanks ATRL the single is very cute, I'm excited - SC was underrated idc
4Walls Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Love the song. Very simple to the point where it would seem hollow but thankfully that isn’t the case. Just powerful. Lyrics are very relatable too (especially as someone who recently quit weed after smoking everyday for like 6 years ) and yea……I think a lot of people in their 20s are going through similar. Realizing one’s addiction issues and overcoming them and really actually focusing on mental health. The only complaint that it’s missing a soaring middle 8…..like the song is BEGGING for one but oh well. Still great. hope she leans into the folktronica sound as the base for the album. I feel like it would be a natural direction for her. Edited February 11 by 4Walls 1

Would love if you could a short track-by-track description too! The song that (imo) is a bit sonically similar to Hookup Scene is Nothing To Be Scared Of. It's mostly a guitar track, but the second half of the song also has a piano. I just love the chorus of that song, really cool. And the other one is Anime Eyes. Now that the track lenghts are out, I must confess mine has actually a different lenght (it's longer) so it's likely she changed something, but if the first half of it is the same, the intro is sonically similar to either Love is a Wild Thing or the Three Little Birds studio cover! 1

Blade Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I like the song and excited to hear the album. This is making me re-listen to star crossed after a long time and I'm realizing that album had so many absolute bangers. good wife, cherry blossom, simple times, justified, breadwinner, keep lookin' up, what doesn't kill me. I was never big on if this was a movie, angel, camera roll, hookup scene etc but I think there's a divide on people who like the slower songs on star crossed vs the poppier songs which is why looking back on star-crossed as a whole most people have a "meh" memory of it. Despite a ton of great songs, listeners didn't like about half of the songs depending on who you ask.
alexaalto Posted February 12 Posted February 12 (edited) Just made my own version of the album cover in PS since the og is a choice I think the font captures a specific feeling so I wanted to include it in this cover but keep it simple & minimalistic also:) Edited February 12 by alexaalto 4 1

pinkbowvintage Posted February 12 Posted February 12 just revisited Golden Hour and my god, what a gorgeous, perfect album. Playing Deeper Well again in the right moment...it's like a warm sound bath of a song. the lyrics hit when you need them, but it's not my fave from her. I hope we get a GH 2.0
