Popular Post Hunter_13 Posted January 30 Popular Post Posted January 30 I normally only buy Taylor's music these days but I had to throw my support to her and bought the song. Hope she gets the #1! 10 6
Kristie Kuwa Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Releasing Cobra and Hiss consecutively is quite iconic tbh. Cant wait to hear Venom, Shed Skin, Glare, etc on that album. That would be such an iconic rap era (making it all about the Cobra motive) 7
Kristie Kuwa Posted January 30 Posted January 30 2 thoughts on Hiss: 1.) The "Lets Go" in the beginning is giving me the same energy Busta gave me in Look At Me Now before unleashing his iconic rap verse. 2.) The shoutout "yall goofy ass hoes look so dumb, everytime yall celebrating fake news, using my name for likes and views, I dont give a **** what yall make trend, *****, I still win" has to be one of the best lines of the 21st century in female rap. So cunty and empowering and her emphasis on news and views sells it. So good 11
Soul Glitch Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Cobra is better than HISS imho but they're both better than whatever her peers are releasing nowadays. So ******* excited for the album! 1
Superbitch Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Whew. I haven’t bought any songs since bongos and before that… maybe years before lmao. Rap kweens only.

Naur Roc Nation gotta do something idgaf. This is as organic of a smash you can get they have to bump the playlisting surely.
Maroonx Posted January 30 Posted January 30 LOL Nicki is so pressed she is calling her label to pay sporify to remove Megan from playlists. sad sad Onika Petty x

Automatic Posted January 30 Posted January 30 A little off-topic but I love how Cobra is getting a boost due to the success of Hiss (it wasn't in the top 100 at all yesterday) 4
Aethereal Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Big Foot is so stable in AM though. Staying at #2 this long for that song, it was supposed to fall down in the second day. Did Nicki pay some good playlisting and her stanbase is mass streaming to help her out in the beef? Roughly 70% of YT feedback were dislikes obviously the longevity is not there.

My boyfriend is I guess the antithesis of me when it comes to pop culture, and didn’t know there was a rap beef going on until I explained it to him last night. I’m sure some people are still discovering the situation, which probably bodes well for both Nicki and Meg’s numbers.

I assumed that one too, it takes several days for the effect of controversy to pass. I am sceptical Megan will be very stable (not in a bad way) after some time but it was an entertaining battle nonetheless. Megan is getting a top 5 and more exposure for her next album. 1

I think the true testament will be the Spotify numbers. We will then see how both songs are fairing with audiences on a more pop focused app. Edited January 30 by FSXP

I don’t foresee this falling in the next 3 weeks minimum. We still have: 1. The hype and push that will come from this debuting top 3. I suspect people will try to push it to #1 2. Radio hasn’t picked this up yet. A radio edit can easily be made by cutting out the talking parts and muting the curse words 3. More free promo from Nicki when HISS debuts higher plus remains stable in the 2nd week and her mess free falls. I’m unsure how her PF2 songs are doing but none of them went top 10 so far besides SFG and she doesn’t seem like she’s in the right state of mind (and apparently doesn’t have the budget) to push the songs top 10 with a video. And her album is also predicted to fall out of the top 10. She’s talking attention away from her own album 4. Megan’s birthday is coming up so she’s going to get a lot of support then. If HISS didn’t go #1 by then, it might because of her birthday week. 5. Nicki has more songs to release so that’s more free promo 6. Cobra and HISS are both good so most likely her next single will be good too and finally 7. She hasn’t released the tour dates and presale yet
justin. Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Nicki still has 4 versions of her song in the top 20 on iTunes and all 4 versions in the top 5 on Amazon. So it's not AS much of a kii, but it's still a kii.
