Weird how the album was getting almost 1 certification per month from 1995 until 1997 and then...it just stopped? Could it be re-certified more than 17 x Platinum right now?

 

Still, legendary album and one of the best selling female albums ever

Ye I also thought it was a bit weird. But then again we are dealing with physical sales here and certifications are based on shipments. A lot of stores probably ordered truckloads of it when it was selling like hotcakes at its peak... and then the album ran its cycle... and physical sales probably started to die by the time they cleared their inventories
