Planet Mars Posted January 7 Posted January 7 There's something seriously wrong with the charts today. And as someone who's been following then since 2013 it's getting more obvious each day. WAY too many of these hits are expired. 12

Billboard keeps giving weight to radio in charting when it’s a dying. They refuse to weigh streaming heavier because heaven forbid label’s payola artists can’t occupy the top 10 forever. Billboard is so out of touch with the actual top 10 songs in the country.

Not true. In the past few years Billboard has downweighted radio multiple times. That Zach Bryan song has been in the top 10 since forever with an 11M audience peak. Just because you don't like the top 10 doesn't mean it's Billboard's fault 4

Ger Posted January 7 Posted January 7 The fact radio audience impressions are reaching lowest levels ever (with another overall decrease happening a few days ago), and people keep complaining about radio being the issue. 11

Exactly. That Miley song is top 5 on radio and it's not even top 20 on the Hot 100 Streaming longetivity is the key to spend multiple weeks in the top 10
