Because of NYE playlisting. The song made it on every Spotify NYE playlist...sorry but it's not organic

Which is why i think songs should have an asterix next to them when they have great playlisting because they have an advantage over other songs

In that case nothing is organic.

Every song on the spotify charts has great playlisting though so picking out one song makes no sense.

Mmm not true. In this case, playlisting helped a TONNE

It wasn't even on the UK Spotify charts 2 days ago and 1 day ago it shot straight to #40? Seems sketch

Once again not true. Tonnes of songs were left out on NYE playlists even though they clearly deserved a spot more than others

Playlisting is just a newer version of radio. Do you think every hit that got power rotation on radio should have an asterisk next to it?

Yes they do. Labels/artists were using payola then and now they pay spotify or whoever to have good playlisting. No damn way its organic. Why should those songs have an advantage over others? Its unfair.

And TTH drives regular songs up the charts every day LOL. Same as 4th july playlists will bump Party in the USA and Firework. So picking out one song and complaning about is being NoT OrGaNIc is pointless. The only way to have organic lists would be to remove playlists entirely.
