:jonny4:Yoona's Rap. Ended me.

Jessica's Iconic Lines. Tiffany Yapping. Sunny's Vocals. The way they really made a song that sounds like 6 different ones mashed together actually sound good. Whew, truly the best of All time

Kinda wish Riize stayed with the Impossible sound. Like they should drop more music like this for SM, instead of the random 1D songs

SM is stupid for not turning View into one of their boy groups' signature sound. Even SHINee never reused the View concept.

Yes Kpop. The same way your faves Jungkook and Jimin are breaking Kpop records with English songs. At least APT chorus is technically fully in Korean and the whole song being about a Korean drinking game which is a part of Korean drinking culture.

In short, Rosé is promoting Korean culture to the whole world with APT.  :clap3:

Lisa's solo is being considered kpop so I don't see why Rosé's wouldn't. Rosé is still under The Black Label (a korean company) and I believe she has a korean passport so she has the korean nationality.

Just for the rercord, personally, I find it ridiculous that all songs sung in English by Korean artists are considered "Kpop", including my favorites. Billboard started this with the aim of putting them in a box and the sad part is that Kpop fans continue to do this. The fact that these artists are Korean doesn't mean that their songs should be labeled as "Kpop" and isolated. I think the same about Rose, but of course I don't know what her fans think. Maybe it's just me who thinks this way.

Aespa originally released the music video for "Armageddon" on May 27 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just over 5 months, 27 days, and 22 hours to reach the milestone.

As someone who comes from Latin America and likes many latin american artists, I see what you mean, because they do the same to latino artists. Award shows, for exemple, they want the attention from fans by nominating, having performances and giving awards to those artists, but they don't recognize them enough to nominate them in main categories so they make a "best latin" category. Same for kpop. It kinda gives "you can come, but you can't sit with us" energy. They almost use it as if it was a music genre, but the music those artists make is too diverse to say it's one genre of music. I personally disagree with using "kpop" as a music genre because are you really gonna say Automatic by Red Velvet and DNA by BTS are the same genre or are they just korean? Kpop to me is actually the industry (with companies have trainees and debuts idols, not just regular singers) so it makes sense to still consider Rosé as kpop, but most of the time in media kpop is used as a limiting label in artistry.

Their music is basically that... Talented girls but they needs to go away from the cheerleading music.

I've been saying that since their debut. A group THIS talented and skilled should NOT be getting run of the mill music like this. It's almost comical how hard they're going for these tame ass songs.

I agree, this is a way for music awards to avoid nominating artists they consider "outsiders" in the main categories. They created "Latin Grammys" to get rid of Latin artists, they unnecessarily squeeze black artists into the R&B category, and they isolate Korean artists by boxing them into the K-pop instead of POP. I don't support this because I see it as both unfair and disrespectful to the artists' efforts. I mean, if you're not going to invite others to your table, you're not going to try to sit at others' tables either.
