Aespa are undoubtedly top 2 or even the biggest gg this year, especially in terms of digital performance, but I wouldn't say they've completely blown (G)I-DLE and LE SSERAFIM out of water overall this year. When you consider sales and streams, it's a bit more balanced between the groups.

Sales in 2024:

GIDLE > aespa > LE SSERAFIM

Streaming in 2024:

LE SSERAFIM > aespa > GIDLE

Not true, sis. And keep in mind the release schedules were:

G-IDLE - January & July

LSF - February & August

Aespa - May & October

For digital points (by Week 43):

Aespa - 1,566,420,556

G-IDLE - 1,234,709,972

LSF - 1,174,173,567

For Album Sales (by Week 42):

G-IDLE - 2,771,171 (sold 1k in week 43)

LSF - 2,082,153 (didn't chart in week 43)

Aespa - 1,666,489 (sold 933k in week 43)

Spotify:

LSF - 1.6B (11/1/24) [+4.755M daily]
Aespa - 1.3B (10/27/24) [+7.942M daily)

G-IDLE - Under 1B [+2.168M daily]

G-IDLE is flopping globally and doing well on domestic digitals (still +25M weekly) while LSF if flopping on domestic digitals (barely +10M weekly) and smashing on global streams. Aespa is still pushing albums, smashing on domestic digitals (they will pull over 60M points this week) and they're smashing on global Spotify and Apple Music.

OH MY GOD!!! I didn't even notice this

@Save-Me-Oprah Sunny might be the next GG member to go solo!!!

the chances of Susan going solo are slim to none even at uncle LSM's company… it's probably just for management of her lil variety gigs

I agree that aespa are the biggest out of the 3 this year, but It just seemed like you were kinda downplaying GIDLE and LE SSERAFIM too much, especially since they still have the lead in some metrics compared to aespa this year

GIDLE still has the best selling female album this year for example

I mean PN was doing well in Korea and internationally. Gidle has the best selling female album this year and fate is a hit so it's not surprising s:wan:

What are YG's plans with TREASURE? The fact they are in their 4th year, and they have only released one digital single in 2024?
