BREAKING: aespa back to PAK! :bam:

and I here I thought Next Level was going to be their peak for single longevity, this is crazy :jonnycat:

at this rate I think they can snatch the year end #1 because they're still gaining like twice as many digital points as each song ahead of them every week

According to YG Entertainment, on August 31 at 7:44 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK's music video for their 2019 hit "Kill This Love" surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube.

While BLACKPINK was already the only K-pop group to have surpassed 2 billion views with a music video at present, they have now also become the first K-pop artist to reach the milestone with more than one music video.

"Kill This Love" is only the second K-pop group music video ever to hit the 2 billion mark on the platform, following BLACKPINK's own "DDU-DU DDU-DU." Even including solo artists, it is only the third K-pop music video to reach the milestone overall (the first being PSY's "Gangnam Style").

"Kill This Love" was originally released on April 5, 2019 at midnight KST, meaning that it took the video just over 5 years, 4 months, and 26 days to hit 2 billion views.

The peak of Supernova has far exceeded Next Level, it's actually likely going to be SM's biggest girl group hit in history.

I think year end #1 is very very possible. It's already top 10 on Melon yearly chart and likely to rise to top 5 in September.

And it looks like they could get more PAKs next week too as Supernova is on track to hold YouTube #1 (so far) :jonnycat:

from checking earlier, it should be leapfrogging from #6 to #4 in the next update

quick lazy math says supernova is around 370-2 million already

unless it somehow collapses, I think it can catch up to plot twist by sometime in October

The fans are thinking it's "We Flash" and I wonder if it's for Korea or Japan. I would imagine 10/21 is their Japanese comeback, though SM doesn't have a Japanese single on the calendar for them.

Supernova - 372,580,414 (+16,738,319)

#13 Magnetic - 9,658,636

#16 Fate - 9,122,167

#18 Plot Twist - 8,489,184

#30 Love Wins All - 6,271,769

#45 Bam Yang Gang - 4,869,095

Unless Supernova collapses, it will take #4 on the YE on Wednesday's update. It will hit #3 on 9/11. It should hit #2 or #1 by 10/9 or 10/16.

its not that serious sisters, the VMAs haven't been a real award in decades. They nominate who will attend and obviously SKZ isn't attending
