Many artists have several versions of their albums available for purchase, let’s not act like Nicki is alone in that. Aside from that, streaming constituted for approximately 85% of PF2’s sales last week, so to imply that her album is being carried by fraudulent purchasing is just downright incorrect.

But you can imply Beyonce had fraudulent numbers. :clown:

I wouldn't be bragging about that if it were me since almost half of Renn sales come from fraudulent different pose T-shirt boxsets and bundles and Nicki's album is actually being streamed after the first week.

Vinyl sales:

Pink Friday 2 - 25k

Rennaisance - 26k

Judging by how she sold a pitiful 26k in vinyl (even with alternate versions) and 121k in cds in the age where people collect vinyl and no one buys cds anymore, it's very obvious atleast half or the cd sales are from the different "limited" boxset merch bundles, so yeah...

lol

that 26k vinyl sales on "first week" was 30k limited version which was sold out in a day after she posted vinyl preview look video.

so she had no vinyl sales until October when standard version(named deluxe) was released and sold 45.5K.

remined you, it was expensive and Basic Black Vinyl, not the color one which is huge selling point.

""Renaissance sold 47,500 copies in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 13 (up 2,401%) according to Luminate. Of that sum, vinyl sales comprised 45,500 (up from a negligible sum the week prior) – marking the largest week for an R&B album on vinyl since Luminate began tracking sales in 1991. It’s also Beyoncé’s single-largest week on vinyl ever." - Billboard"

Also Boxset was soldout wks before album release. so no more boxset sales on second week or third week.

so..

Renaissance: 16 tracks, 2 Dgitial Versions (clean/explicit), 1 CD. no Vinyl.

pf2: 24 tracks, $7.99 10 Digital version, 1 CD, 4 Color Vinyls, 2 fan packs(CD $5).

Taylor finally surpassing Elvis :clap3: Let’s go

Nicki will possibly pull ahead to #2 :clap3:

UVST did so well for Bad Bunny that I’m so surprised at his newest album being missing from the top 20 :gaycat6:

not surprised Tate McRae is already out of top 20. Delusional stans called me old when I said she has one hit and no fanbase to sustain her yet here we are. She's not a MPG, she was never gonna serve longevity on album charts.

drake top 4 even tho yall said he was flopping

why?

yep. this is why I laughed at them... they have no clue how MASSIVE Drake is. he's one of the few artists left in the industry that has a diverse fan base that crosses age, income, race, gender, sexuality, etc.

'1989 (TV)' weekly units:

1.653.000

245.000

159.000

138.000

141.000

101.000

109.000

136.000

118.000*

–> 2.80M units to date

The way a re-recording of a 2014 album is performing like a brand new smash studio album. 9 consecutive 100k+ selling weeks, triple platinum in 3-4 months only… :deadbanana2:

Dont forget Wildest Dreams TV & This Love TV have pre-releases units so it has already crossed 3M

Look like midnights will fall out of top 10 after Christmas without a 4th single.

The pure sales will drop hard and the stream is not strong enough.

Pure Sales will still be decent and SEA will recover after Christmas freeze, Midnights still have a few more weeks/months in top 10

I wonder if it will end up being no.1 on year end and win top billboard album.  That would be insane lol

Its aiming for around 4M on YE, which is on pair with Morgans last year which was the biggest album on a YE since 25

I really doubt there is any artist ~that is not Taylor herself~ with enough power to pull those numbers right now

I think the best way to explain how 1989 TV is performing is pretty simple: it’s 1989

Love seeing one of the greatest pop albums of all time getting its second life as a commercial juggernaut. Taylor is that girl and 1989 is that album!
