ATRL told me that Nicki was the queen of rap so it's surprising to only see Doja Cat, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lizzo in the OP.

Not to mention, PTTR did it in 5 less weeks than WAP, which spent 24 weeks total on the Hot 100. That's impressive, especially considering how strong WAP's run started off.

More evidence that PTTR was not a placeholder #1, but rather a very strong #1 hit.

PTTR peaked at something like 70M airplay meanwhile WAP peaked at like 25M cause it was way too explicit and the clean version sucks and makes 0 sense:rip:

Either way idrc cause PTTR is a great song and a worthy successor

Talent WON, even though WAP feels SO much more bigger, PTTR is kind of just there.

This list is based off of chart positions and longevity not points, so WAP’s extra strong weeks at number one don’t help it.

PTTR is a pop song

PTTR is a crossover radio hit. It will have more longevity on the charts because of radio.

Both excellent songs :clap3:

PTTR is more liked by the GP as a whole

while WAP was more of a moment, because it is much more controversial and gets a reaction out of people (and tbh may be known, but not liked by everyone)

Congrats. I don't see why Bardi Gang or Hotties would have an issue. WAP is going on 4 years old.

WAP was an organic rap smash without a hint of pop. Best-selling female rap collab, most likely?
