rcksluke Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 She should do some US dates. I think she could sell out at RCMH in NY
shakeyourbombom Posted June 7 Posted June 7 She will sell out HK easily based on her popularity among the mass Jpop fans in HK

rcksluke Posted July 13 Author Posted July 13 I think this is the first time she has a catwalk on her tour stage
willmcclure9 Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Had my show in Saitama today…. It was super fun and she's my fave artist of all time (I've traveled to Japan twice to see her ) but all bias aside the show was incredibly mid for me
willmcclure9 Posted July 25 Posted July 25 (edited) To elaborate: Hated the setlist for the most part, no passion? No sakura drops? no Michi? Yet keeps some of the most boring ballads and snoozers like Anata & Hanataba wo Kimini , I know this is just my personal taste but I hated the setlist. no dancers, no choreo, no elaborate stage…. I mean I know Utada is minimalist, but I was expecting at least a little of something considering the ticket was $200 and the LITD Tour I went to had much more going on. Also there was only 2 looks & the second one was hideous the merch is so lazy and boring, granted it was cheap (compared to tour merch Australia). It does look better in person though and I got a towel and a shirt. also idk if this was just my date, but she sounded so bad, like no backing track or any support on her vocals and sounded like she was fighting for her life the whole show for some positives: she looked stunning as always, the production of the songs sounded amazing in the area and some of them had extra adlibs / instrumental sections. Especially Kiss & Cry sounded like a re-record? Could be forgetting how the original sounded but it sounded so good and I usually think that song is mid. travelling went OFF, even the 70 year old hags in front of me were bopping, best part of the show for me all of that said I obvs still have fun and I love Utada but I really want more form her, the whole SCI-FI era feels like a cashgrab. Oh wow oh wow I hate to say it. I hope I don't sound ridiculous but the concert that's on Netflix was a bit boring to me lol She really doesn't do much on stage. I'd still like to see her live one day!
