Pollstar is always estimates. She's never releasing the official numbers because she knows people will call her greedy from making billions on a tour .

I think we might just have to get used to relying on industry expert estimates, with no way to tell when (or if) she’ll ever report box scores.

An astounding first year total for the biggest tour of all time :clap3:

:deadbanana4: The European & Australian legs yet to begin. Absolutely insane and unhinged.

It won't do another 1B as they estimate tho w almost the same nr of dates. US tickets are massively overpriced.

The gag of Elton snatching U2/Ed's records with a 5-year tour. :skull:

Taylor doing this after initially peaking in the mid-2010’s just to out peak that peak several years later :clap3:

I’m actually going to check out the show when it becomes available on VOD!

Yeah, but it's probably doing similar numbers. Considering there's a second NA leg and she might release more dates for early 2025.

72k average may be too high. I’d say 65k. That being said this total sounds right.

Beyhive is avoiding this thread like the plague.

Insane and the tour is barely halfway in :rip:

She's aiming 2B at this point. And I'm pretty sure no one will ever come close to these numbers, at least not for another 15 years or so. 1B with only 60 shows is insanity :deadbanana2:

She is in fact holding the numbers to report the whole grossing at once and make a bigger impact. There is no way you think Taylor Swift in 2023 will try to hide the success of the biggest tour of all time so she doesn't get called "greedy" (people who want to call her that would find any other reason).

I can’t believe Drake charges more than Beyoncé and Taylor. It’s ridiculous.

I mean the average ticket it's even less than George Strait (:rip:) and less than Drake and Beyoncè. So it's not like she made this cause tickets are the more expansive tickets ever or over-market, they are in the average of all the top 10 prices, she made it cause she has more demand, more dates and bigger places than others. What she should hide?

if america average is 238 dollars rest of the world will be around 150 imo. So from around 80 dates missing i think more around 650-750M  more.

The biggest tour of all time and she did it in just 60 shows… even calling it insanity would properly describe howOut of the world this achievement is. :deadbanana2:

"It will take some time before all the implications of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” are fully understood. Her epochal trek is a potent multifaceted symbol for our times rife with social, political, economic and cultural meaning (how many days this year went by that you did not hear some news of Taylor Swift?), which we’ll leave to cultural theorists and pundits to deconstruct. From a live industry standpoint, however, her tour is both qualitatively and quantitatively an all-time high and something for this industry to behold."

:jonny4:

!!!

The tour is a major reason why she managed to be TIME's POTY and here we have Pollstar saying the same thing. The impact, scope and iconography of this tour will go down in the pop culture history books. :deadbanana:

She will not report the numbers. Puck News had already reported that she informed both Billboard and Pollstar that she won't release the data, and now Variety is saying the same:

The singer’s management has said it will not release any official box-office numbers from the tour, so the totals are very much projections.

This tour really needs an extension into 2025. There is so much demand left, Millions of fans on waiting lists. 50 more concerts. Would Would add $700 Million to her total gross.

She could have easily charged more than $238 average face value. So fair pricing for a superstar.

Her calendar year including Brazil is $1.15 Billion from 66 concerts and $200 Million from merch. $1.35 Billion in total. Her cut as income could be 33%, so $455 Million (or $6.9 Million earned for each night performed)

Not only the biggest tour of the year but the biggest of all time.  (And it’s not even halfway done).

no please...for how much you can be happy your fave reaches a great acheivemnt 150+ dates and 2 years are already enough. More than half of the dates still have to happen.

I mean this result will already need a lot of time to be surpassed (if it will :pig:), another 2 years of the same show- concept would became boring even for the hardest stan.

A female tour just was announced as the biggest tour of all time and this will get 1/5 of the pages of Taylor saying she feels reputation is her "female rage punk album".
