Taylena Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Why no mention to the rapper featured on Levitating remix when he's the reason the song became a huge hit? Also I bet none of these other songs had a remix that's responsible for more than half of the points. 1 3

GreenEnvy Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 (edited) Levitating is not solo Right now the biggest solo female song of this decade on the Hot100 is Flowers. Edited December 4, 2023 by GreenEnvy
QueenofCopyPaste Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Quote In 1960, Lee recorded her signature song, "I'm Sorry", however, the record initially was withheld for months before its release due to concern that the 15 year old Lee wouldn't understand what she was singing about. The song became one of the biggest hits of 1960 reaching the #1 chart position in the U.S and #12 in the U.K[19] [20]. It was her first gold single and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
jdanton2 Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 (edited) Sorry by Brenda Lee spent three weeks at #1 in 1960 . it was not the longest running #1 by a female that decade but it must have had the most points .To Sir With Love by Lulu had 5 weeks and Ode to Billie Joe by Bobbie Gentry had 4 weeks. You Light Up My Life and Physical had 10 weeks at #1. How Do I Live had longevity despite reaching #1 . We Belong Together had 14 weeks at #1 and Levitating had longevity despite reaching #1.
