Lover and Midnights outselling folklore feels so wrong

Rise folklore!

The fact she's pushing 3 different albums simultaneously to Diamond status is INSANE:deadbanana2:

The way she’s probably coming for them before her next fully new studio album is even out :santa:

Mind you, those are her 5th and 10th studio albums.

People love to act like she just debuts high because of “multiple copies!!!! Streaming farms!!!!” But they completely neglect the kind of longevity and general interest this kind of achievement takes. This is no easy feat and is one of her most impressive records to date. Amazing to witness in real time :clap3:

With a weak Q1, she’ll probably get a few more triples and get there before repTV in april/may…

If she keeps charting 5 albums -> 2 months until she beats them

4 albums -> 2 months & 1 week

3 albums -> 3 months

2 albums -> 4 months & 2 weeks

1 album -> 9 months

Isn't it funny how people saying that never have any actual proof those things are happening? It's just feelings and vibes as usual :toofunny3:

I honestly don't think any album will ever surpass it. Adele may not be as successful now as she used to be but the kind of success she had with 21 and 25 was truly unique and will never be repeated again, not even by Taylor. Taylor is obviously more successful overall but those two albums were just commercially out of this world.

It’s #1 here for female albums, is it #1 overall also?

The Midnights and 1989 TV debut weeks are obviously comparable to 25’s debut given the climates, streaming etc. but 25 was still doing over a million 6 weeks in :deadbanana4: truly insane. And then 21 didn’t just have longevity, but all of those weeks in the top 3 were in the middle of a really strong sales climate with over 100k pure every week :deadbanana4:
