Speak Now TV is so close to Top 10. Dropping signed SNTV CDs would not be a bad idea right?

The fact she’d have to nearly TRIPLE her current #1 weeks makes it basically impossible :deadbanana4:

TRIPLE?!

The Beatles have 132 weeks and Taylor is getting her 66th week so it's precisely the double.

I NEEEEED Speak Now TV to enter the top 5 it’s so close

She “only” has to double her weeks, not triple.

Yeah I accidentally read 152 for the Beatles instead of 132. Still a tough mountain but at least it’s not “triple” like I initially thought

Is 1989 TV likely to stay #1 through December or is something else on the way?

Pink Friday 2 is coming in the next 2 week.

1989 TV continuing to dominate :turkey:

One has to wonder what even is Taylor‘s biggest chart success this week:

- A rerecorded 2014 album at #1 for a third week

- A 2020 less mainstream album still in the top10

- A 2019 album that was called frontloaded still smashing

- Her 10th album with 58 consecutive weeks inside the top10

- A rerecorded country album from 2010 almost sneaking inside the top10

Definitely 1989TV is the most impressive considering the OG is already a diamond album.

Yeah, that’s one of the only records that I expect to be truly untouchable for her, unfortunately. :katie:

They need to push signed CDs for SNTV and bag half of the top 10.

Black Friday sales have always benefited physical sales.  Folklore is especially strong in physicals.

To be fair about the beatle record , the charts were extremely unreliable before sound scan in the 90s . All records pre sound scan are basically guesstimates.

Billboard just called up a sample of record stores and asked them what the best selling albums were. The stores weren’t required to have proper accounting at all . This favored some artists and genres over others . Country was especially hurt and once sound scan was implemented it showed that tons of country albums were being sold.

I'm guessing it will be a hot Christmas gift this year. It's kinda her album that appeals the most to people outside of her usual listening base, at least in my experience. So maybe it has the most appeal as a gift.

I remember atrl claiming folklore was forgotten after debut week and only fueled by mass buying variants
