There are 11,600 Malls in the USA. Let's wildly assume every single one of them plays Brenda's song once an hour over an average of 12 operational hours a day and never play Mariah's song at all. That gives us ~140k net gain spins for Brenda from Malls. She'd still be #1 without this fictional assumption.
