Bieber in 2015 (so 1 year later) not only released 'Sorry' and 'What Do You Mean' about Selena but said, on national television (Ellen DeGeneres show), that it was about Selena. 

He also leaked their collab "Strong" on Apple Music Radio (drake show) 1 day before the What Do You Mean release and posted several Jelena pictures on his instagram on his album rollout. And they weren't together. 

 

Selena milked Jelena, Bieber milked even more and no one talks about it.

cuz they were back together in 2018 and rare rollout started in 2019? 

the thing is that jelena had a yo-yo relationship, thats why it feels like a never ending material. 

miley released wrecking ball (2013), malibu (2017), slide away (2019) and flowers (2023) about the same man. he's just not as famous as Bieber. 

that's how yo-yo relationships works on music industry. it's normal.

he'd rather generic stuff (even lyrically) and Selena expressed her heart. They weren't broken up for more than 6 months when she wrote and recorded Lose You To Love Me.

Their yo-yo relationship lasted 8 years. Please, thats intense, thats more than A LOT of marriages and l don’t think its bad that she sang about it until 2020 with songs she recorded until 2019 when they last broke up in 2018, i think its pretty normal.

They never had a solid relationship after like 2013, it was a 1.5 relationship followed by hook ups and such for many years, she moved in with Abel, he talked about marrying Hailey in 2015. 

I'm sure they loved each other for some time but at some point it felt more like they were going back to what felt familiar to them (which must be crucial for celebrities who have a hard time building real relationships) than anything, they were together for one month each year or less from what it looked like, certainly not comparable to a married couple like Miley/Liam or Justin/Hailey, it was intense but still a teenage relationship.

Now I get and respect ur point and what u said but i just don’t agree.

 

I think their feelings were so deep that the fact that they stayed together for X months and not the full year each year don’t erase it.

Being honest i’ve never been a Jelena shipper, in fact i’ve always hated the couple, but i still think like this.

That it was VERY deep.

 

If u love someone and u revive it almost every year, even for some months each year, thats a deep thing.

 

They couldn’t let go for a reason, u think it was just cuz they were familiar. For me — even hating the couple — it was a deep deep deep connection and feeling. 
 

and that make the numbers of months they stay together each year irrelevant for me. I see it like 8 years of yo-yo.
