Oh doll, one of your lot just 2 weeks ago claimed that only RIAA certified copies count as real stats and those of Billboard official sales numbers are irrelevant... This is just because in theory Mariah is more certified than Taylor.

your lot is using chartsmasters. serious people use music industry bodies such as the RIAA, BVMI, BPI, RIAJ and what not. 

 

Go write them an essay of how music fans know more than the industry itself.

But your lot is still refusing to accept Billboard numbers who more than clearly state that Midnights and Lover are past 6million units and 1989 OG well over 12M but they are still undercertified by RIAA cuz Taylor and her team are that lazy to certify them(also because of the fact that in under a year they would still need new certifications). Them not being up to date certified does not magically erase millions of their sales.

She got 900k+ units just from this week alone. How many of those were accounted for in certifications?

At some point it'll be useful to learn the difference between the amount of units moved and the certifications. A song could be at 600k and the other at 1.199M and they both would still be platinum, yet, there are 599k units separating them. 

 

It just means that Taylor has tons of songs accumulating units that have yet to cross any certifications threshold and once they do, well things will appear very clear.

I mean, I'm not the one trying to invalidate Music News, you are. For all we know, Rihanna could be at 62M single units. 

 

What if, every single artists have moved units that are not taken into consideration in certifications yet, but none of the female artists have reached 63M yet? 

 

I mean. Using a brain from time to time isn't too hard. One of your fellow Navy suggested that maybe Taylor was above in single units because they didn't count Rihanna features. We don't know if that's the case, but at least it's a suggestion that was plausible. Not some "I don't believe official numbers" non-sense.
