Olivia's lowest debut since Sour. Her biggest soundtrack debut

This tanked and the movie is not making any noise either. Her decline is declining fast :chick2:

It's a soundtrack. They usually don't perform well.

Awwww how sad. It seems like Swifties dropped her.

Anyways, did anyone try the chicken yet? I think the chicken was lovely

Ya’ll really love doing the most on this girl. It’s literally been a day. Meanwhile she’s about to embark on a sold out worldwide tour. Very decline.

Lol I have this feeling that Swifties hijacked her fanbase during Sour but quickly dropped her when the Taylor feud allegations start coming into light

(The song is great though, so talent lost :emofish:)

It's so weird how she became local to the anglosphere.

Is the song even on any of the main playlists lol? Judging the performance this prematurely when the movie doesn’t release for another few weeks is also kinda dumb

I used to think like that too but most Olivia fans are still swifties. You can see when one of them drops something, the daily streams of the other declines. It’s a very small percentage of the fanbases that took this feud seriously. I just think Taylor is overshadowing Olivia, she has been satisfying their demographic way more than Olivia this year, most of them are focused on listening and stanning her first :michael:

OT: Less than Dance the Night, interesting

But when I made my thread about GUTS yall said 'no one is criticizing her'' :ahh:

These threads are gonna be delicious to bump in a year when GUTS outlongevitied some of the other 2023 releases and is still charting. You just wait and see.

The song simply sucks.

Weird she couldn’t debut higher given where she’s debuted in the past, but soundtrack songs don’t always smash right out of the gate, look at Dance the Night (this is way less commercial sounding than that song too). Why is ATRL so invested in Olivia “flopping”????

It is simply a bad song. She needed to serve Venus and she brought Jewels & Drugs.

I really don’t feel myself comfortable with 30 year old man bullying a 20 year old girl for not being super succesful :doc:

Those girls are growing up and are still discovering their images and their musical taste. Let them do what they want instead of creating a pressure on her that she has to be successfulz

The truth is is that a lot of ATRLers can't get behind a pop girl if there isn't some sort of success or high chart positions / sales to discuss. Most ATRLers simply don't care if they can't be part of something big and massive

This probably would've been a good decision & probably a smash if it wasn't for the strikes halting the promo for this movie, she's just really unlucky tbh :rip: But then again another reminder that soundtrack songs aren't always smashes and the likes of the Barbie OST are simply outliers, didn't Carolina have a kinda meh debut too? Usually it's not really indicative of where an artist stands commercially

It's a soundrack song without any big playlists support (TTH's), it's fine :rip:

good debut

She had album tracks being hits in SEA & decent peaks in much of LatAm and now nobody gaf :rip: Not even trying to drag but this is a case for the FBI

Y’all are being intentionally dumb.  Most people have no idea the song exist.  It had no play-listing, no video, and was announced the day before release.  And the movie has no hype.

I remember immediately after DL came out some chart watching users were stunned because they had never seen a Western pop song blow up in the Middle East and Asia that quickly, especially from a random newcomer. I will say it’s very sus how Guts is seeing nowhere near that kind of global reach.
