family.guy123 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 This is the new goal post. I will not recognize Taylor’s achievements as being impressive until there’s an early prediction of her being #1 60 years after her debut. 1 2

jdanton2 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 they are supposedly releasing physical copies . it is possible they could do well though without radio and streaming the numbers would have to be huge .

allforyou Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 No ******* way Them getting a #1 hit after 2 of the members died + it's been 60 years since they started would be wild

Maroonx Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 idk if the sales/streams will hold in the US, but in the UK I'm sure it'll go to #1
bad guy Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Would be so legendary if so. I used to be in the "The Beatles are overrated" crowd but when I did a deep dive into their discography it's impossible to not trace back every modern day artist back to them. From chord progressions, to songwriting, to vocal inflictions, etc. I still prefer other bands to them but you can't deny the impact and musical genius of them (minus Ringo ). Also in a world of Drake's fluke little #1's rivaling Michael Jackson, it'd be nice to see The Beatles just further solidify their record that nobody will ever touch.
unison stan Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 yes and it's such a GAG cause who else can debut at #1 after 50+ years
LastGreatBloodline Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 it's the first time ill actually be siding with the iTunes mass buying boomers it would be iconic indeed
Mr. Duff Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 If Cruel Summer cannot rebound to #1, then I’m all for The Beatles debuting at #1. I have only heard the song once so I need to listen more but it would be iconic for them to score another #1 after all these years!
shelven Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Hopefully this finally puts to rest ATRL and Twitter’s weird refusal to admit that The Beatles are the most commercially successful act in the history of modern music. It’s never been close. Michael Jackson, Elvis, etc. could never come close to pulling something like this off. The Beatles were a cultural phenomenon at a level that I’m honestly not sure will ever be repeated in music (although Taylor’s lowkey getting kinda close). 3
Sawk Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Now I LOVE me some Beatles and was listening to them a lot weeks ago, but this AI mess shouldn’t be successful, SPECIALLY since two members have passed away, very disrespectful.
