Even if this made sense and was true, the only Beyoncé solo album released exclusively to Tidal was Lemonade and in the U.K. it sold 10K through the platform, which made up 14% of its debut week sales, meaning 86% was from pure sales, meaning Tidal's "free streams" or whatever you called it only dented the total number, and I assume would continue to do even less in the weeks after.

 

If you think the fractional "free streams" which even at a peak week was only 10K is what has gotten her certifications to be at #4 and not you know, not being popular enough to have 21 Top Ten hits in the U.K. for a total of 106 weeks...then okay.
