abrantino Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Ridiculous lmfao. He's one of the greatest of all time for sure but has no business winning it in 2023 2 1 2

I'm not a hater and I would actually even agree that he's the greatest of all time, all I said was he (obviously) wasn't the best in the recent year. But I can already see you're one of these nationalist weirdos who get extremely angry when anybody even dares to say something against their fave so I won't even bother wasting my time arguing. 3

And don't do it, because it won't change a thing. It was a World Cup year and he absolutely deserved it. Too bad other players that won the World Cup didn't get it during their respective year, but this is Messi we're talking about. xx
flashfox Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Congrats to the best player of all time. Haaland deserved it more, imo but next time I guess
LookinAssHittas Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I like Messi and I’m happy for him, but this is completely underserved. He didn’t really do anything during the 2022/23 season outside of winning the World Cup. They place too much emphasis on the World Cup and Euros, imo. Also, I think they should make a rule that if you’ve already won it twice or three times, you should be eligible to win it anymore. The fact that him & Ronaldo have like… over 5 Ballon D’Or each is a joke. 3
hausofdave Posted October 30, 2023 Author Posted October 30, 2023 Messi becomes the first player to win the Ballon D'or in three different leagues (FC Barcelona, PSG, & now Inter Miami)
lillavend3r Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 How is it uNdEsErveD he literally had his best year yet, he revived a flop team and won the ultimate accolade for a football player and the one that it took him the longest to get 1
brenda-walsh Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 not surprising but it definitely deserved to go to someone else

Drowned8World Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 oh and i forgot he's going to be back for Super Balon D'or in 2028 1
Bloodflowers. Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Is this a first time an active MLS player won this award? Another historic win for Messi
