Ms. Togekiss Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Cruel Summer a multi-week SOLO #1 smash 2
Klein Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Here's to one of Taylor's best explosive pop song. Taylor and Jack are winning, again.
By the Water Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 #1 on the Hot 100 #1 on Streaming Songs #1 on Radio Songs #2 on Digital Songs A well rounded hit
Cruel Summer Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Quote “Cruel Summer” simultaneously rebounds for a second week atop Radio Songs. Notably, it’s the first song this year to crown the Hot 100 while reigning as both the most-streamed title and most-heard hit on radio. It’s the third song to achieve the feat this decade, following Harry Syles’ “As It Was” (for one week in June 2022) and Adele’s “Easy On Me” (one, November 2021). Oh that’s interesting! A multi-week, multi-format, multi-platform smash HIT 5
genetic fail Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Third week at #1 incoming The Fault Track wishes
Vinay973 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Next week will she replace herself at the #1 spot just like how she replaced herself with blank space after shake it off in 2014... lengendary behaviour 5 1
Ger Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 What a smash hit, tbh at this point CS feels like one of Tay's biggest hits. The Morgan domination 1
Michael196 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 The single surges 5-1 on Streaming Songs, becoming Swift’s seventh career leader on the list. It follows “Anti-Hero” (two weeks at No. 1, in 2022); “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” (one week, 2021); “Cardigan” (one, 2020); “Look What You Made Me Do” (two, 2017); “Blank Space” (seven, 2014-15); and “Shake It Off” (two, 2014-15). Swift breaks out of a tie with Justin Bieber for the second-most Streaming Songs No. 1s and trails only Drake, the leader with 20. Over four years after its release, “Cruel Summer” completes the longest route, from a title’s release, to No. 1 on Streaming Songs among non-holiday hits. Only two songs, both seasonal standards, have taken longer: Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” jingled to No. 1 for the first time last holiday season following its 1958 release, while Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” spent the first of its 18 weeks at No. 1 to date in the 2018 holiday season, after it was released in 1994. #1 peak on the three main components also her longest #1 on pop airplay, ties (and will surpass) AH for her longest on HAC, and will hopefully top AC soon (currently at #2) 1

Cruel summer will and can return the following week. There's still a few days so I'm sure they'll get'er done. 3
Raphy23 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 OK NOW THAT'S ENOUGH. CS neeeds to let Is It Over Now get that #1 next week! 3
SinnerCity Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) No one can objectively say that Taylor won’t surpass Madonna as the biggest female artist of all time in the upcoming years. I can’t recall the last time an artist achieved so much 20 years into their career. From album sales to chart-breaking records to touring, it’s like Taylor has got every corner covered. As someone who grew up experiencing some of the biggest pop music peaks (Britney / Gaga) this is insane for me to watch. Swifties are truly something else, can’t remember a more loyal fanbase since probably The Beatles. Edited October 31, 2023 by SinnerCity 4

First album 1981, peaked in the late 90s

This give you a big space where to grew up instead of a fast saturation everywhere at the same time. Edited October 30, 2023 by vale9001 1

First album 1981, peaked in the late 90s Yeah but we’re al talking about a re-peak whereas Taylor has consistently grown her audience through the years and that’s the Swiftie effect. Her music hasn’t evolved that much, it’s the way it is consumed on a larger scale that has changed and the only reason for that is the way she understood early on that treating her fans as friends and besties or whatever is what would make her even more relatable. She’s an exceptional business woman that can write catchy songs, it’s nothing short of impressive to be honest. 1
Bosque Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I was told the public is tired of Jack Antonoff, how interesting that he is getting a second week at #1 and will replace himself next week 1
