Bad Blood (TV) is looking like it will have the best longevity from 1989 (TV). It's definitely going to be highest charting track in Week 2.

1989 having 4 #1 singles would tie it with Rhythm Nation, Whitney, Mariah Carey and Forever Your Girl as the female album with the second most #1 hits, after Teenage Dream

What's the 4th one? Only BS and SIO went #1 so far

Just be glad Taylor put Blank Space, instead of Sl(u)t on the original 1989. Sl(u)t being the 2nd single instead of BS would have killed all momentum.

Exactly like do we say Red has two #1s since ATW10 because I haven’t heard anyone say that :biblionana:

It should be Say Don't Go to reach #1 :gaylorcat2:

Except Taylor is already predicted to be #1 with Cruel Summer, so there’s no incentive for her to do anything this time.

True. Billboard counts them as two different albums.

In fact they don't even count #1's from re-releases (like Parte of Me from Teenage Dream Complete Confection) let alone a whole re-recorded album with 5 new songs  :skull:

Hated this song until the Eras Tour, but after seeing it live and feeling the complete chaos of it mixed with anticipation for the surprise songs...Chef's Kiss!

Okay, IION? grew on me after reading the explanation to the lyrics. Drag Ha(rry), Taylor! :jamming:

The only thing Taylor could do is release a single version of Is It Over Now? on itunes if the gap with Cruel Summer is close. I doubt she had any idea that Is It Over Now? would be the most popular track from 1989 TV

And the incentive would be to score her 11th #1 hit

if that counts then Part of Me as the 6th #1 counts.

It's not that high of a priority, though. It's almost like Scorpion with Drake already having the #1, with Nice for What. He could have pushed for the extra #1 with Nonstop, but allowed another song to go #1 naturally the following week. I can see that happening here. Any song that goes #1 from 1989 (TV) will be done naturally, and not with a push.

I think Bad Blood (TV) is going to be the most popular track from 1989 (TV) before the week is said and done.
