How? Style is doing around the same + the original is also smashing? I would expect Style to go #1 tbh.

Style is quite a bit behind in the USA, and I'm pretty sure the two versions are not combined

Another quick lil #1.

This won't have legs like AH or CS.

Of course a vault song from 10 years ago won’t be a multi week #1? The standards people put on her :gaycat6:

I thought everyone hated "Style TV" so why would people be rooting for it to be #1? I personally don't have a problem with it but I know a lot of people do.

Can explain why this is so please?

how come a song like slvt! would have a chance:gaycat6:

Re recordings are seen as cover by Billboards

So BB won't combine them. Some charts in other countries do combine but it depends on rile and all

Style, Say Don't Go or Is it Over Now can be no. 1. But Sl*t is fine. I hope she'll release an MV.

All I’m hearing is she will potentially replace herself at #1, get her 11th #1, and then get re-replaced again by one of her own songs the week after. When the smashing is so hard that your songs dethrone and compete with themselves… whew

I don't care what anyone else has to say but SL*T! deserves to be a Anti Hero sized hit :alexz3:

top 2 and she's both :deadbanana4: a winning either way...

although I wish if Style could get it to complete the trinity with ATW & CS of deserved #1s that managed to finally get it years later...

and imagine if it comes down to a few points and they suddenly pull CS off everywhere for a couple of day in order to get it :dies:

Cruel Summer shouldnt be close.

Is It Over Now should be the favorite for the #1 imo

…and it’s not receiving the same single push as those songs, so literally no one expects it to?

Slvt! will most likely get a music video (do not quote me on this, I'm just making an educated guess) which will help its margins

IION has much bigger radio potential imo

So its seen as Taylor swift covering a taylor swift song so it shouldn’t be combined? What makes this bs logical? :toofunny3: so stupid and edgy of billboard omg the shenanigans

kinda slay to have a #1 called S*ut :gaycat2:

I know people complain “these songs aren’t hits! They debut high then free fall a week or two later!” because of Taylor, Drake, and very few other artists who can chart singles in the upper echelon of the Hot 100 based on streaming consumption, something that wasn’t available for previous generations of musicians

But I counter that by saying this isn’t anything new to Taylor. Even in the digital era she was sending promo singles and digital releases to the Top 10/20/40 just from digital sales alone, way back in the 2010-2014 era. She’s got a plethora of album tracks that charted for a week or two because her fanbase was ALWAYS strong enough to do what other fanbases can’t: chart songs that aren’t singles. This is just the continuation of that. :clap3:

Yeah her promo single game was truly unmatched. No one else came close.

I assume they expect some big drops. Either way, that would make the top 10 all female artists for the second time ever

Posted

Wait!

If ****! goes #1, she would replace herself at #1, next week. Then if Cruel Summer rebounds to #1, that would be an iconic back to back to back self replacement at #1.

CS > ****! > CS

Has anyone done this before?
