Rigalo Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The ponytail look in the video OH MY GODDDD THEE HOTTEST 1
Take Me Apart Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) She ate We freakin love you Megan thank you for staying cuz I know I wouldn't have had the strength Edited November 3, 2023 by Take Me Apart 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Don't think this is a hit but personally this is already one of my favorite songs of hers.
Stimulus Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The production is fresh and that video is incredible. It's good to see Megan bring back rap rock. Huge step up from the pitiful Bongos. 3
~Start The Music Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) I think her upcoming album will be really good if she's going in this direction Probably will be her strongest effort especially with no label involved this time around Edited November 3, 2023 by ~Start The Music 3
Mornings Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) There’s some nice bits. but overall it was kinda awkward, no? Meg might not be good at the contemplative, dare I say Eminem-esque type of song. is she saying “this ***** depressed?” “Damn I miss my parents?” Edited November 3, 2023 by Mornings 2
blastoisebaby Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 This is a great move in the right direction if you ask me. "This Ussy depressed uh" Like so sad so segsy, so relatable. It actually sounds like a hit, but the lyrical content be to real for the GP to digest. But easily in her #top10 and it still makes me clap cheeks.
Saint James Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 i appreciate what she’s going for but it doesn’t really work. she’s approaching the instrumentation exactly the same as a regular trap beat. for some rappers, rapping about depression whilst sounding upbeat would be a creative choice. but with megan it’s clearly a limitation. she can only rap in one way, and that’s what people are referring to when they say everything sounds the same. 5
Seffers Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 ooooh this song is so interesting for Meg I'm into this, the lyrics are so personal
Power love Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 25 minutes ago, ~Start The Music said: comment aged like milk thoughts on the song? I’m unsure what you tried to do. The video was visually great & she always looks amazing but the song is atrocious. 2 1
Ivan_brit Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 The song is fine but does not feel like a lead or comeback single The video was too much, I was grossed by some parts, a lot of change of skin & scary snakes
humbz Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 the video is a bit all over the place (not as much as the atrocious “sweetest pie”), but the song goes HARD. I don’t think she’s aiming for a pop hit and I’m fine with that.
Airlie Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Didn’t have high hopes for this since I knew it would be a “feels” comeback song but WHEWWWW THAT VIDEO!!! Taking notes from Belcalis! The song is cute as well but won’t go anywhere. Now I need her to release a Thot **** 2.0 skulldragging every ***** that came after her during this time
BGKC Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 She’s so BOLD af for this. Love every bit of it. The guitar riffs/solo, the lyrics, the video. Amazing.
trainsskyscrapers Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) A great album opener like "Shots Fired" where she said no names, but we knew all of the players she was talking about. While "Anxiety" was a more conventional approach to being vulnerable and filling your fans in, I have a feeling her openers will now become dramatic re-caps which might be a cool trend. It's only up from here. Edited November 3, 2023 by trainsskyscrapers 1
Airlie Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 “This ***** dеpressed, hmm, I'm about to stress him, yеah“ https://youtu.be/xRn9x0gBqqE?si=zxFrbk4ZxvbOiRmU
Earfquake Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 This is amazing, I'm so glad she's back. I missed her so much, I'm guessing that ending of the video was hinting at the next song that'll come after this? Either way I'm bopping. *** Pardi btw!
Polgg48 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 back in few days, good but this could grow by next days or week...
chaneloberlin Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Oh she devoured this. Because the beat gave Plan B I was worried but she out Anxiety'ed Anxiety. The guitar solo was too long though and I wish it were longer. But she ate
