I am basing this on gays I’ve met in person. It’s rare I see a grounded level headed gay person. There’s always a need to make a jab or create shade. The cattiness and shallowness is way too common.

I've only ever seen this on the internet, especially on forums like this and I think a lot of the people here just do it to do it and aren't really like that in person, or at least I hope not. I consider myself blessed not having exposure to people like this in my day to day life or the places I go. Most gay men I know are just normal guys who like other men. Makes me sad others experience this in their day to day. These people would definitely test my ability to not resort to physical violence.

Gays watch movies like mean girls and those early 2000’s cheerleader movies and try to adapt those personalities to themselves which is cringe, especially since they do it wrong. Look at those outfits of extra tight pants that look like they’re about to rip. If they’re gonna want to have that ridiculous personality they should at least update their style and stop wearing those pants that make them look like stuffed up sausages, not even Hailey Bieber or other current IT Girls are wearing things that tight. it’s kinda like recently I watched Legally Blonde again, and when she gets to law school everyone makes fun of her extra perky personality and honestly I was Elle Woods back then lol but with todays world now I understand the more dry, serious mean personalities better.

 

an example is the Kardashians when they meet Addison Rae shade/mock her the entire time. They have that dry, serious, mean personality, not that goofy cheerleader extra perky mean personality from “bring it on” like… GAYS NEED TO GET WITH THE TIMES.
