For him? It's probably somewhat of an underperformance since his last album did more - and he is mainly a streaming artist - which also did a tad bit lower than his previous album (which is a bad future sign, since: Streaming's power is increasing every year; His previous era (which was his peak) should've given him a big hype)

It’s almost all streaming, which makes it impressive, especially for a latin album. If his audience consumed physicals he could have made a larger splash. I think they are being conservative because the album could plummet faster after the debut

UVST ended up being extremely stable so it did more than the first predictions

Wiki says Un Verano did 356 million streams during its first week in the US. That makes it a bit far from 260-290 million (although still highly impressive). Un Verano grew throughout its first week and had mad consistency. I think this is shaping up to be Bad Bunny’s GUTS in Spotify and its US Spotify debut wasn’t that far from Olivia’s (28 for GUTS and 32 for NADIE). He does way better in Apple Music, though, so numbers there can pull through. The next days are decisive in which side of the predictions it will fall. If he has promo under his sleeve it can grow throughout the next days too. If he just drops and dips with a single and video then I think it will slowly bleed like recent releases by the likes of Drake and Travis
