Is Midnights still in the top 10 in other territories ?

idk but Morgan is literally non-factor outside the US. even Kim Petras or Charli XCX can actually chart in international markets, Morgan can't.

Maybe he will go pop with his next album and crossover ?

His albums did well in Australia also randomly.

#3 in Ireland

#5 in Australia

#6 in New Zealand

#7 in Portugual

#9 in UK

#9 in Canada

It's also top 20 in Belgium (Flanders), Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Austria and probably many others despite being released a year ago while Morgan Wallen barely charted in most countries

Why is Morgan Wallen not called the biggest musician currently? He seems to be ruling the charts more so than Taylor. I don’t know his music but he must be massive!

He’ll still finish behind Taylor on IFPI global artist chart. Or check Artist 100 chart, Taylor is #1 for most of the year.
And Taylor has 7 albums in top 20.

She's carrying an entire catalogue consisting of 10 albums on her back right now, all of them top 40. While also giving him a run for his money, with 2, 3 or sometimes even 4 albums in the top 10. If anything this speaks volumes to her immense power.

Let's not even get into the globalness aspect of it.

Australia has always been friendly to country. Think Keith Urban.

This ain't completly true though. His album debuted at #1 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The album also went Top20 in Norway and #40 in the UK.

This information can be easily looked up.

Why even push him in markets where he would eventually chart, but the label would end up losing money, just to prove a point?

An artist like Kim Petras can't afford that sort of luxury, cause she ain't big anywhere in the world.

i exaggerated a bit with the kim petras example because it was a fun drag, but the point still stands. an average mpg can easily outsell morgan and outchart morgan ww, so he shouldn't be referred to as the biggest artist right now.

He is not.

They are reporting Billboard. These are not made-up numbers.

https://www.billboard.com/pro/taylor-swift-nfl-concert-film-economic-influence/

"Swift's prowess as a recording artist and songwriter is well known. As the most popular artist in the United States across several consumption metrics, she has 11.7 million equivalent album units this year through Sept. 21 — about 70% more than the No. 2 artist, Morgan Wallen, according to Luminate. (EAUs convert streams and track sales into album units.)"

There's a country where OTAAT has collected more #1 weeks (22 weeks) than than US (16 weeks)

well Morgan has like 3 albums, Taylor has over a dozen.  He's doing great, and he'll definitely catch up eventually. Taylor just has more of a catalog to stream.

"definitely" is a very strong word. As almost everyone fades after a 3,4,5 smash albums

How can we “definitely” know that he will “catch up”?
First, we will have to know how will he fare with his future albums and if he is able to reach to the 10th at all, etc.
