This is the first time I'm hearing of it in this sense. It makes sense, though, as to why so many people are walking around complaining about being single and how they can't find anyone. If you're walking around dehumanizing people like this, indeed, then you deserve to be single and lonely. It's one thing to have preferences, and it's even important to an extent, but when they're based on nonsense and completely shallow ideals like that...
