Trash Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 The 60s outstreaming the 70s The 90s and 2000s are pure slayage 1
Abracadabra Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 All The Things She Said being #2 for the decade and having more streams than Survivor is quite surprising, but glad to see it being a classic
Soda Pop Queen Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 The only surprise to me here is 'You Can't Hurry Love' being higher in streams by such a wide margin over 'Baby Love' and 'Stop! In The Name of Love'. I always felt the latter two songs were bigger Supremes songs, or at least I heard them more growing up. Same with 'Where Did Our Love Go'. Also, in the 90s chart, the songs 7-9 are out of order. 1
Planet Mars Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 After the 00's things took a HIT Jesus christ Fifth Harmony, Little Mix and BLACKPINK? Sister Sledge slaying the 70's kind of caught me off guard though, OK ladies

The 60s was when the girl group paradigm, while not new, exploded. It started dying down in the 70s but rose again in the 80s until it reached another big boom in the 90s. 2

I remember they used to live in the YouTube top 100 in 2011-2012 even when the song was released many years ago

Shelter Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I love these kinds posts. We need a new girl band to really come and slay like the old days. 1
besaid Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 The quality falling off a cliff after the 2000s Super Shy is cute though, hope it joins the 20s list to clear out some of the 1/10 garbo there
