BnPac Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 She's a singles' artist and that's OK. All she needs is to pump out hits and at one points, she would have so many hits that, in the streaming era, she will appear bigger. Unless she does not do something as drastic as Katy's image change wreck etc, she'll be fine, I think.
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 upsetting numbers for olivia. she was so close blocking rod wave for the 2nd and 3rd week. i wanted olivia with another week at #1
BGood2Me Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 All of this late for Olivia to lose the 2nd week at #1

B-Luke Posted October 3, 2023 Author Posted October 3, 2023 Higher peak and more units than Disco (#26; 19k) 2
Green Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Rod Wave #1 again? I bet this week she will be blocked by some Ed's last minute discount desperation

I would be pissed if it miss a full year by just 1 2 weeks 42k is still very strong for #10. It should hopefully get there
Flocon Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Why are you all making fun of Doja physical sales ? Lol She's a streaming artists and the only format available was the CD one with the old cover and old tracklist !
Villas Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Embarrassing numbers for Doja, never will be an album force
makeme Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 I really want to know how she did 72k with a #1 hit vs 100k with a #3 I guess the pre build up to PH with Streets smashing was kind of just her moment to shine. Wish she could've kept things going with this next album.
Maroonx Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Damn Doja was so close to the top 3... and fuckkkk at Kylie missing the top 20 :(
Braz Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Pink had a better first week than Doja with a first single that peaked at #99... 2
qurl Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 6k pure sales ???? oh she really lost her stanbase huh granted i’m not as versed in good chart numbers in this current day and age but that seems just absolutely abysmal
Alex Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 yeah Doja is seriously over and she will never recover from this

I thought it would be great marketing but it wasn’t. 10 hours ago, josesuxx said: Doesn’t she have demonic imagery in the PTTR video? Because people are hypocrites. The same ones who stayed away from Doja because of the demonic imagery will be the same ones dressing up for Halloween 51 minutes ago, Alex said: yeah Doja is seriously over and she will never recover from this If Nicki can recover her hip hop cred after PFRR/Starships, Doja will be fine. She just gotta know that if she wants to be taken seriously as a rapper she needs to appeal to the hip hop heads, if not keep it to pop and rap on those songs. Edited October 3, 2023 by TiaTamera 1
NEUTRON Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 some of y'all need to take the rose colored glasses off and get with reality because Doja's pure sales are the norm for today's charts... major players excluded.
Anthinos Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 It sucks that Kylie didn't debut inside the Top 20. It was so close. Still great numbers!
Nashe Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Wow, so Kylie moved 53K units in the UK, 24K in the US. That's already 77K. I guess 100K total worlwide seems very likely. At the big age of 55 !!!!! just whew!! seriously who cares if it's #21 or #20. Such silly numbers don't matter to nobody but stans dealing with OCD
Apolonio ₃₄ Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Doja tanking is sending me. Still a good album tho.

Kylie's eighth #1 also pulls her up the list for 'Most #1 Albums (1965 to 2023)' alongside other acts with eight chart topping albums like Pearl Jam and Metallica, while on the 'Accumulated Weeks at #1: Albums (1965 to 2023), she rises from 52nd to now 49 (12 weeks from 8 #1's) just ahead of Coldplay (7 #1's and 12 weeks at the top). And 5K in France. Edited October 3, 2023 by Hector
Orsay Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 damn so close to Top 3. Oh well, obviously not great numbers for Doja but y'all were parading around about the 50-55k projection and how she wasn't gonna outsell Meg and neither happened so
