She lost her stans so she’s a singles artist now

I don't think she lost too many of her stans.

I think she lost the bandwagon fans.

There are four types of fans:

Hardcore stans = will support anything even if they don't like it. They are obsessive. Examples: BTS, Beyonce stans etc.

Casual stans = Support when they feel like it. not there for first week sales but are there during the weeks needed to stabilize. Examples: Rihanna's albums in  the 2010s. Dua Lipa this decade.

Fickle stans = They support as long as you give them everything they want. You can't mess up or do something they don't like. If the wind blows to the left, they'll follow but only if you don't give them what they want. Example: Billie Eillish

Bandwagon fans = THey are there for the new car smell/hype. Once either go down, they hop off to the next thing. Example: Jack Harlow/Lil nas X/Da baby

I think she has her hardcore fans but like some mentioned she doesn't have a lot yet. Most of her success was from bandwagon fans last era.

She lost a bit of fickle ones but her casuals will keep her afloat as well as hardcores.

Doubt it.  I would agree with this, if she didn’t just drop an album that is completely unlike the rest of her discography.  People keep overlooking this fact.  Lol.

PTTR, the pre-album smash single that is what the gp heard, fits very well with the Planet Her sound. So, I disagree.

Yes…..which would explain why the single did well, but people aren’t listening to the album.  lol.

People expecting “usual Doja” prob listened once + just kept streaming PTTR and Agora and discarded the rest.

IMO, what will be more telling about her supposed decline would be: 1) what sound she’s exploring next album, and 2) how long it’ll take her to release it.

The demonic imagery really pushes people away. Every time I listen to Doja now she always makes commentary about how Doja is on her “devil ****”. She was actually supposed to go to her concert with me but now she’s having second thoughts.

Cardi is number one right? And then Iggy? Who’s number 3? Lizzo?

I forgot about Lizzo, I had Kim at 3

That is good for her standard

So this is all PTTR and AH did for its parent album? As long as the singles have legs then that will be its saving grace.

A singles artist I guess. And that’s fine

She doesn't need her fans to buy her albums, so the number seems right for her B-list status

Guys need to remember she had no physicals. & the promotion has been at its worst especially compared to Planet Ha!

Many ppl have no clue she released with the lack of engagement.

72k is actually decent :clap3: Rod :jonny5:
