What Taylor did is not only have a nationwide release, but also have AMC make deals with other theater operators in the domestic and international markets. This is the release strategy that Beyoncé is now following, not the one from Chance. And the differences are so significant, that AMC themselves have lauded their Taylor Swift strategy as a new business venture: Chance did a deal with AMC FIRST which is the argument in here correct? Pack it TF up! Like ALWAYS the yt mole rat copying Black artists Edited October 1, 2023 by QueenBeyoncé 3 1

Feanor Posted October 1, 2023 Author Posted October 1, 2023 Just now, QueenBeyoncé said: Chance did a deal with AMC FIRST which is the agreement here correct? Pack it TF up! Like ALWAYS the yt mole rat copying Black artists The agreement is not who worked with AMC first. The agreement is what kind of release strategy these artists are using. Neither Beyoncé nor Taylor are doing the same release model that Chance did. Chance did not have a wide release, he did not have AMC make direct deals with other chains and he did not have AMC act as a global distributor for the first time in history… all these things are the characteristics of the release model that Taylor set up and that AMC has turned into a new line of business. And it's now the same release strategy that Beyoncé is employing. 3

Chance The Rapper did exactly that and had Taylor copying like always. Move around AMC will offer exclusive premiere of Chance the Rapper concert film Edited October 1, 2023 by QueenBeyoncé 3
Frappucino Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 It could be her only talking for 3 hours about each track and the recording process and I will still be attending. 1

Once again, what Chance did is different than what Taylor is doing. She couldn't have copied Chance when he never had the same release strategy. AMC literally cites Taylor's movie as the inaugural step of a completely new business model, there's no mention of Chance anywhere… cause he had a different release model. 1 4

Taylor's team went directly to AMC with their idea to skip studios altogether and let AMC distribute the film. This is not something AMC came up with. Beyoncé releasing her visuals/tour this way is only possible because Taylor paved the way for this release strategy to happen in the first place Which is the exact thing Chance did.. his deal opened the door for Taylor’s. 1

Once again, AMC did not distribute Chance's film like they did with Taylor's, with 1. no cross-chain bookings 2. no nationwide release and 3. no international distribution. Hence why AMC touts Taylor's release strategy as a new business venture and not Chance's strategy, because they are two separate things. AMC never distributed a movie like they did with The Eras Tour, until Taylor came with this exact proposal to them. And this is why you have industry publications like Deadline, Indiewire and Variety draw parallels about Beyoncé to Taylor's deal, and not Chance's deal, cause they are entirely different. redsbae Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Taylor vs Beyoncé is really tired now. Sad thing is it’s a bunch of gay men pinning women against each other. They are always respectful and kind to one another. Take notes gwarls 1

We are all sure she had a documentary brewing, as well as visuals, and it looks like they're including the tour, too.

Taylor theatrical release was negociated first. In fact the AMC proposition to Beyonce was based on Taylor release model. 5 1

Bubble Tea Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Honestly it's a cool idea to run concert tours in cinemas, god knows neither tour are coming to my country so at least cool to see them on a big screen. 1
