Y'all are acting as if Cruel Summer ending up at #4 is going to take away the fact that it is <10 points from #2 and the tweet is wrong. Like yeah, the tweet was obviously made for clicks, but it's still not wrong.

 

Had it been challenging for #1, Taylor would definitely try to push it and close the gap.

she wouldnt sadly. 

there were a few weeks where there was only a 30-40 points gap and while 30-40 points sounds like a lot it really isnt for this fan base if she release a live version of the track and a tour mv or something
