I’m surprised to say this, since I thought it would be exiting the top ten by now, but it seems like she might still sneak a #1 week with the movie release if they put out a live single and pull some more promo stops.

We need Cruel Summer (Fall Remix). Just kidding lol. But I love that this is a summer & a fall hit now, especially with the movie coming. Sadly Drake is coming though so I fear a #2 peak is coming dddd

she needs to stop booking restaurants and start booking another remix :jonnycat:

Like, even a Tinashe remix would be enough. Less than 10 points!

She would have had 12 number ones by now if she put some more effort into Karma, Cruel Summer and made a campaign for a Speak Now lead (Enchanted/Sparks Fly) like she did with All Too Well. No one is on top forever - she should be snatching those easy number ones while she can. Though I kinda gave up with Cruel Summer at this point, so w/e

She likes them number one debuts, has shown minimal effort at late run number ones

Seems like she’s really treating this as a gift for the fans after us wanting it to be a single for years. I mean, it is incredible that this song has done what it has, but with her current status, all she would need to do is one or two quick promo tactics to get the #1.

Spoiler

Wbk she only cares about debuting at #1, she always checks out after that nnnn :toofunny2:

I genuinely intrigued as to how the tour film will affect things.  It’s expected to do pretty big numbers.

Why? For #2.

#1 is still 60+ points away.

Anti Hero was the real Smash. #23 after 49 weeks. 8 weeks at #1 :clap3:

It’s weird that she didn’t try to push CS to number 1 for at least one week. It’s well deserved compared to her other quick number 1 singles. Maybe she’s worried about overexposure I guess

I can see it pulling a Kill Bill and sneaking in a week at #1

Kill Bill got a remix with Doja so not exactly the same

Anyway imagine if this peaks at #2. First album with three #2 peaking songs I believe, queen of breaking the wrong records!

At the end, this is Lover's best song and the best performing single from that era so...

Spoiler

I would still like a week at #1 tho.

but yet she's all over the media cuz of her appearance at the Chief's game.  That itself has made more of an impact than Lavender Haze and Karma put together!  How far away in points from #1?

Maybe the opening weekend of the movie will push it to #1 since it’s the opener ? :monkey:
