Kylie’s 16th studio album – preceded by recent Top 10 hit Padam Padam and its title track Tension – could earn the Australian superstar her ninth chart-topping LP across a career spanning 35 years. The London pop-up was open for three (3) days and you expected it to move an additional forty thousand physical copies?

Disco did about 50k iirc so this makes sense. Crazy how she's outdoing most of the new artists by such a large margin.

When Disco did 50k and this has a whole merch pop up with insane hype and multiple different editions then yes I did estimate it to sell more than Disco

Don't girlies buy every variant? That's why they do multiples and how Taylor gets such huge numbers etc. The pop-up wasn't just for merch it was about Tension as a whole and to drum up more interest in the album.

80k at this point would mean bigger debut than Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi. That's impossible.

Well Disco had 37k sales on its Monday midweek update, so Tension is 3k ahead so far, it will probably surpass 55k.

UK chart has this rule: "The 2 album tracks attracting most streams are neutralised to the level of the average of the next 14 highest streamed tracks associated with the album" so this means that many streams from 'Paint The Town Red' and 'Agora Hills' do not count
