I'm inclined to agree with you about most of this. I actually think there's a really cute 10-12 track album in here. He/his team were ironically trying to play the streaming game of long albums when his sales composition was always going tto made up of mainly pure units anyway. Also, in hindsight, they definitely shouldn't have bothered dropping the album before the SB. On paper, it read like such a flex and probably the smartest use of the platform from a headliner in a long while. But if he knew he wasn't going to perform any material from it during Halftime, he would have been better off holding off the release until the week/s after and snatch some more presales. At the same time, I think the clear win (and money maker) for him is the tour. And sales for that are flying, so it's all good. Just wish the album didn't feel like such an afterthought/side-venture in the process of it all. 1
Sabandija Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I agree with most of you. The album is way too long. He could've delivered a very strong cohesive 12 track album. It's sad because I feel like this project it's going to make zero noise. I hope he dosen't give up and keeps pushing singles.
NEX Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Finally got the chance to listen to this in proper stereo and I must say I kinda loved most of it. Definitely should have been much shorter tho.
BnPac Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I'm still bopping to the songs that I like. Solid effort. I finally got into Ruin, I hope it becomes a hit on Urban at least. 1
SoldierofLove Posted February 23 Posted February 23 “Glu” and “Boyfriend” are not on the expanded edition? 1
Cbreezy Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Boyfriend is terrible, 2004-sounding in the worst way. Surely it's gluttony wanting it on there lol? We're already at 22 tracks. Sidebar: Believe is a bop! 2

And GLU was ignored by the public so of course he’s not going to stick a year old droplet that flopped onto an already 20+ song tracklist. 2
Taste of Honey Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Believe is really good, and better than some of the stuff that made the standard album. They should push it. 2
Facelessboy Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I am obsessed with his new album. I ended up just making a 15 track album on my Spotify playlist getting rid of the filter. Whew it flows so much better! He really gave us quality! So proud of him!
xluvxduffxmusicx Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I really love quite a few songs on here, but man, the album is so bloated. A solid 13-track album with 2 or 3 bonus tracks would have sufficed. And now there’s 2 more songs? I- Let me check them out!
crf13 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 It truly is a mess how BIG made the album over Believe and Naked. Both of which, are top 5, at the very least. He should be pushing Ruin, Kissing Strangers, and Believe moving forward. Ruin is #1 most added on Urban Rhythmic Radio and Kissing Strangers will impact radio this coming week.

I’m so confused.
Burn Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Well after this I think it's safe to say he's never releasing another album again. People went on and on about him not releasing an album in 8 years and how hype they were, but when it was time to support the music where was everyone?
Virgos Groove Posted April 12 Posted April 12 (edited) Finally checked this out and it's... okay. Some highlights, but pretty patchy overall. Second half is definitely stronger. I'll be keeping: Good Good, Kissing Strangers, Keep on Dancin', Risk It All, Stone Kold Freak, the run from I Love U to Margiela, One of Them Ones, Standing Next to You (I hate how much I liked this one ).
